In what could be the biggest game of rugby this season outside of the World Cup final takes place this weekend in Auckland between New Zealand and Australia with the winner taking the Tri-Nations and Bledisloe Cups.

Before the recent All Blacks v Springboks test in Christchurch, much was made of the fact that over 3,000 tickets remained unsold. However administrators have nobody to blame but themselves for the dwindling interest by fans.

After going down 33-6 to the All Blacks in Christchurch on Saturday night, Springbok captain Johann Muller has launched an attack on his New Zealand counterpart Ritchie McCaw, labelling him “lucky”.

The so-called Springbok ‘B’ team once again showed they are no easy-beats as they held the All Blacks tryless for almost 70 minutes before going down 33-6 in Christchurch on Saturday night.

Reuben Thorne is a polarising name in New Zealand rugby circles, some claiming he is virtually invisible on the field and does nothing for his team, while others say that Thorne does more work than most forwards and is deserving of his place in the All Blacks. So which is it?
