In today’s instalment of the Keys to Victory, Hamish McBrearty takes a look at the what the World Cup favourites must do if they are to claim the William Webb Ellis trophy. After a successful Tri-Nations campaign, only minor adjustments need to be made for this team to end New Zealand’s World Cup drought.

The Wallabies have won the World Cup twice, in 1991 and again in 1999, and while this is not the best Australian team to take the field, they will still be a real threat in France.

This week the Rugby News claimed that three Blues players are looking for a way out of the franchise, reportedly unhappy with their treatment from coach David Nucifora. A revolt against Nucifora by senior players is certainly nothing new.

The second round of the Air New Zealand Cup got under way as Tasman took on Manawatu at Landsdowne Park in Blenheim on Thursday night. In a game that was patchy at times, it was Tasman who came away with the win by 33-10.
