Super 14 about to kick into high gear as round three looms

Several derby matches this week add spice to an already mouth watering draw for round three.

Posted by: | CommentsThe Football Federation of Australia (FFA) have suspended Central Coast Mariners goalkeeper Danny Vukovic for nine months, plus a further six months probation for violent conduct after he slapped referee Mark Shields’ hand. This may seem like a strong message that touching officials will not be tolerated, but this is also same body who did not suspend Newcastle’s Joel Griffith when he struck an assistant referee.
Blues and Crusaders sound warning to the rest of the Super 14

McCullum leads Black Caps to series win, with a little help from the rain

Wicketkeeper Brendan McCullum got New Zealand off to a flying start, and they never looked back, until the rain came.
