Late Petrovski winner extinguishes Phoenix hopes

The league leading Central Coast Mariners came into town and claimed all three points as the Wellington Phoenix once again imploded on defence and went down 2-1 at Westpac Stadium.

Jets douse Phoenix for comfortable home win

Both teams were depleted with players on international duty but the Newcastle Jets took all three points as they put away the Wellington Phoenix 2-0 in their A League clash at Energy Australia Stadium in Newcastle.

Who is to blame for the Fiji visa fiasco?

Fifa cancelled the World Cup qualifier between New Zealand and Fiji after the New Zealand government refused to grant a visa to Fijian goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau. But in this clash between politicians and sports administrators, it is the players and fans who lose.
